The “Blizzard of 2009″ or “Snowpocalypse” as it was called online (locally it was called “DC Snowpocalypse”). We got about 22 inches (unofficial) here in Front Royal. I just wanted to share a few images from Saturday and Sunday:

I’ve wanted to take this shot for a few years. Last week I had the opportunity to drive over to The Washington DC Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some locals just call it “Cinderella’s Castle”. I took this shot from Linden Lane.

In October the Jacob family took a trip to see In The Beginning at Sight & Sound’s Millennium Theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After visiting Sight & Sound, we took a tour of Amish Country, sampled some good Amish cooking and of course we had some shoo fly pie!
