Last Friday the youth of New Hope Bible Church in Front Royal, VA held their first lock-in. From what I hear, this is supposed to be an annual event.

Before the lock-in we enjoyed a concert by FOREVERISFOREVER, THEREAFTER, and In Search of Reason. Here are a few photos from the concert:

Tim, the Youth Group Intern, told the kids that if 150 kids showed up, he would get a Mohawk. Well, we had over 150 kids. Tim wasn’t happy with how his Mohawk turned out, so he just shaved the rest off.

It was beautiful on Saturday, so after running some errands, we headed to Downtown Front Royal on Saturday for the 23rd Annual Wine & Craft Festival. We don’t drink and we didn’t buy any crafts, but it was a chance to get out of the house and give the kids something to do.

The first order of business for the kids after eating lunch was face painting:

ApologetiX: That Christian Parody Band in Front Royal

Last month, ApologetiX – That Christian Parody Band dropped in on New Hope Bible Church in Front Royal, VA a visit. Honestly, I think they just made a wrong turn off of I-81.

This was my first concert shooting with my Fuji S100FS, so please let me know what you think.
